Polish company Mudita was founded in 2013 on a mission to design and produce consumer electronics that help to bring a more balanced relationship with technology. The company is named after a Buddhist term for ”joy” which has its source in the well being of other people. It is founded by Michal Kicinski who is the co-founder of CD Project and co-creator of The Witcher gaming Saga.
The technology and immersive experiences of today bring a lot of benefits to our lives. However, with an increasingly connected world where everyone is always online, where people are sharing and living their life through their devices, technology is having a serious impact on our health and wellbeing. Mudita wants to do the opposite.
Above has worked with Mudita on the industrial design concepts to define a modern take on a classic phone that helps people enhance offline time and look after your well being. The premium phone encompasses some interesting features like the ultra-low SAR antenna, an eye-friendly E-ink display, and a long battery life.
Pure has a slider on the side that allows you to switch between customizable modes quickly, without looking at the phone.
No Distractions: Switch off all the notifications.
Whitelist: Allow only your favorite contacts to reach you.
Message Only: This mode was designed for the times when you want to stay connected but with limited distractions. Your phone will only log into the network during given periods of time (every 30 minutes by default) to send and download text messages. It will not accept any incoming calls.
